Healthy Homes Projects

By working closely with a range of community and government organisations such as local councils, local District Health Boards (DHBs), energy trusts, power companies, Work & Income New Zealand (WINZ), in some regions we deliver free or heavily subsidised home insulation projects called Healthy Homes projects. These projects are designed to make retrofit insulation more affordable for low-income families or families who have health-related conditions such as asthma.

Greater Wellington Regional Council  is offering you an alternative to purchase insulation. It is offered to all ratepayers in conjunction with the Warm Up New Zealand: Heat Smart programme.
