Healthy Homes ProjectsHealthy Homes - Heavily Subsidised Insulation Projects
Our team is dedicated to enabling the supply and installation of simple but effective energy efficient measures to New Zealand households most in need.
By working closely with a range of community organisations such as local councils, the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA), Community Trusts, and local health organisations (DHB’s, PHO’s), EnergySmart aims to provide free or heavily subsidised home insulation for low-income families, and/or families who have health related conditions such as asthma. EnergySmart's Healthy Homes projects target homeowners and tenants who hold current Community Services Cards (CSC)*. These projects have been created to enable those most in need, to live in warmer, drier, and healthier homes through the installation of heavily subsidised insulation.
